Great news out of Washington today.
The Supreme Court has ruled in our favor — Texas’ congressional map stands for the 2026 elections.
The Court made clear what we’ve said all along: when reviewing a map drawn by a state legislature, you must presume legislative good faith. That’s exactly what the lower court failed to do, and SCOTUS corrected it.
We are very pleased, and Texans should be too.
Will there be more legal challenges? Yes. Voting rights groups are already lining up. But today, the rule of law won.
The people’s representatives drew this map, the highest court in the land backed it up, and we move forward.
